Classic slogan in ads ( what else ? Cereals course ! ) , Our parents told us a million times , but they are not nutritionists, we have heard many times on television : Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! What is the truth ? There are some remarkable research that proves it ?
Public opinion and the rationale that supports
Not having eaten a whole evening 's body needs carbohydrates directly , so a hearty breakfast as you wake up will metabolize better during the day by preventing the conversion of caloric intake and fat as well as strengthening our mental functions.
The reality
Cortisol levels rise naturally during the night with their peak when you wake up for about 20-30 minutes. H Cortisol is '' bad '' hormone and leads to the destruction of our muscles right? Not exactly. This daily physiological increase of cortisol (in contrast e.g. with chronic depression which is permanently at high levels ) , without high levels of insulin, which can cause the carbohydrates activates lipolysis - fat burning ie .

conclusion
When you are still in development or when getting ready for a morning workout of long duration ( more than 45) I would not recommend quitting altogether breakfast but avoid the common foods that are usually composed of 50 % sugar and choose more natural meals low in glycemic index such as eggs , oats, brown bread etc. ..
The rest , do a test stopping breakfast for a few days. Start your day with two glasses of water and see how you feel in terms of energy , concentration and hunger during the day. If you see that it does not affect you negatively or not , try it for longer and observe any differences in body weight. If that body fat decreased or maintained more stable over time, you probably can cut the breakfast is a good idea !
